Avery Hansen serves as the Interim & Assistant Athletic Director at Maranatha Christian Academy. In this role, she provides leadership and oversight of the athletic department, supporting coaches, student-athletes and families while managing daily operations, scheduling and event coordination.

Originally from Ankeny, Iowa, Avery brings a strong background in athletics, coaching and administration, with a passion for creating positive, developmentally appropriate experiences for student-athletes. She holds a master’s degree in Athletic Administration from the University of Cincinnati and a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations from Iowa State University. Avery is also a Registered Athletic Administrator (RAA) through the NIAAA and holds an Activities Administrator Authorization.
